Meet Dawn
Like you, I have experienced many life changes. Some of these transitions were exciting, while others were painful. They all had one thing in common. Each challenge offered an opportunity for personal growth. Every life transition I experienced improved my ability to adjust to new ones in the future.
One thing I realized is that I have a strong passion for helping others navigate through their transitions. It resonates deep within me, stirring my soul. I have had both formal and practical training that brings a unique blend to my coaching service.

Highlights of Dawn’s practical life experience credentials include:
- Marriage – The year 1996 marked a significant milestone in my life as I entered marriage with my husband, embracing the transformative shift from “me” to “we”.
- Infertility – My understanding of femininity underwent a profound transformation when I had to face infertility head-on because of PCOS and endometriosis.
- Foster Parent – I helped children ages of 18 months to 13 years old in their unexpected life transitions, offering them stability and guidance during their time in care.
- Family Teacher – As family teachers, my husband and I lived and worked in residential treatment facilities as substitute parental figures focusing on behavior management, positive reinforcement, and skill-building for children ages 5 to 17 to helping them with their transition challenges so they could gain long-term success and independence.
- Adoption – My husband and I welcomed our son to the Harper family when he was five years old. His special needs came with their own challenges and transitions as he grew into adulthood.
- Career Change – I have gone through multiple career changes because of factors such as industry fluctuations, the nation’s economic conditions, and personal circumstances.
- Multiple Relocations – I have lived in six different states and adjusted to several American subcultures.
- PTSD/Generalized Anxiety/Depression Diagnosis – After a season of chronic trauma that left me feeling fearful, helpless, angry, and depressed, I reclaimed my life as I learned to restructure it through a combination of healthy self-care habits, support systems, and therapy.
- Overcoming Food Dependency – By using tools like intermittent fasting and journaling, I became free from my unhealthy emotional reliance on food as a source of comfort in times of uncertainty.
- Diabetes – Through lifestyle changes, I eliminated the need for medications.
- Spiritual Awakening – Experiencing transformative spiritual awakenings shattered my perception of man-made religious constructs, allowing me to form a deep connection with the Creator of the universe.
